Visit the most beautiful Belgian castles and get intrigued by their charms and wide history

Maximilien de Béthune bought 341 ha of the Sonien Forest in1833 and build the castle together with a French architect Jean-Jacques Nicolas Arveuf-Fransquin and a Belgian Jean-François Coppens. It was finished in 1842.

Visit Brussels Royal Horses Hotel Château Huldenberg

In 1820 the castle burnt down but was rebuild in 1848. In 1861-1863 the gardener cultivated grapes in conservatory of the castle. At the entrance there is a memorial for Felix Sohie the gardener who set the basis of grape growing under glass.

Beautiful castle that stems from the creation of the village Rixansart. A lot of nice events are organized frequently such as a brocante every Sunday from 7h-13h (last 7 October).

Visit Brussels Royal Horses Hotel Château Corry

Beautiful medieval castle build in 1270 by Count Philippe de Vianden. It has never been sold and still owned by the original family.
